New York-based entertainment and mass media conglomerate Paramount Global, formerly called ViacomCBS, spent $60 million on U.S.-booked air travel in 2023—a $3 million decrease from what it spent in the category in 2022.
Paramount has a global travel policy across the 39 markets served by the program. The company increased its hotel rate cap in certain markets in 2023 to reconcile it with spiking hotel rates in those locations.
Paramount deepened its relationship with both CWT and Concur in 2023. The company re-upped its contract with the mega travel management company in December 2022 at which point it began implementing its North America and EU markets into CWT’s newly created
global operations hub. It also brought CBS Sports division under CWT travel management services in 2023. Next year, Paramount plans to consolidate its Asia-Pacific markets under CWT as well.
With consolidation underway with CWT, Paramount also consolidated its business travel around the world to one Concur instance.
